Uniswap's record month: Robinhood Chain drove 53% of revenue
Uniswap earned about $14.8M in protocol revenue in September, its best month yet, and Robinhood Chain's tokenized-stock trading supplied 53% of it.

Uniswap had the best revenue month in its history in September, and more than half of the money came from a blockchain that did not exist before July. The decentralized exchange collected roughly $14.8 million in protocol revenue, according to Crypto Briefing, with Robinhood Chain responsible for 53%, or about $7.8 million. Token Terminal's on-chain figures, published in early October, put the monthly total at about $14.7 million.
Why one chain matters so much
Robinhood Chain is a layer-2 network built on Arbitrum that went live on July 1, 2026. Uniswap has been its main automated market maker from day one, launching v2, v3, v4 and UniswapX together. It only switched on protocol fee collection on the chain on July 27, so September was the first full month to show the effect.
Most of the activity is trading in tokenized stocks — tokens built to track listed shares — rather than ordinary crypto pairs. That flow is unusually lucrative:
- Average fee capture on Robinhood Chain is 0.465% per trade, versus 0.214% across all Uniswap deployments.
- On September 1, the chain processed $1.95 billion in daily volume, of which $1.75 billion went through Uniswap pools.
The catch: concentration
A single network earning more than all of Uniswap's other deployments combined is a double-edged result. Daily transactions on Robinhood Chain had already dropped by more than 40% by early October, Crypto Briefing reported, suggesting September's burst may not repeat at the same pace. If tokenized-stock traders move elsewhere or fees compress, Uniswap's revenue line is exposed.
Context
The numbers add to a broader story: tokenized equities are becoming one of the first real-world assets that people trade heavily on-chain, a trend we also covered with Perpetuals.com's SEC filing. October's figures will show whether the record was a peak or a new baseline.
