Binance is closing its mining business. The exchange said on Tuesday that Binance Pool and related services will be discontinued on 10 November 2026.

What is closing

  • Binance Pool itself, including its Stratum mining endpoints and API
  • Pool Savings
  • Cloud Mining, which let users rent hashrate without owning hardware
  • Transaction Accelerator, used to push slow bitcoin transactions through
  • Telegram hashrate alerts and email notifications

Key dates (UTC)

  • 10 Nov, 07:00 — the pool starts disconnecting miners and disables its Stratum URLs. Shares submitted after this time will not be credited; earlier shares still count toward final rewards.
  • 10 Nov, 23:59 — deadline to complete any identity verification needed to receive a final payout.
  • 24 Nov, 07:00 — Binance Pool pages become permanently inaccessible.

Miners need to redirect their machines to another pool before the cutoff, and Pool Savings users should redeem or unsubscribe. Binance says eligible rewards, balances and refunds will be processed afterwards, subject to its product rules and compliance checks.

Context

Binance Pool launched in April 2020 and was the ninth-largest bitcoin pool at the end of 2025, with about 26 EH/s — roughly 2.3% of network hashrate, according to Hashrate Index. The closure fits a pattern of Binance trimming older products while it expands into areas such as stock trading for non-U.S. users.
