EasyA hits $1.1 billion valuation, aims for H1 2027 direct listing and tokenized shares
The blockchain and AI developer platform has filed a draft SEC registration and completed two years of audits. It wants shares available on-chain from day one.

Developer platform EasyA says it has reached unicorn status as it prepares to go public. Co-founder and CEO Philip Kwok told CoinDesk the blockchain and AI education app received an independent valuation of $1.1 billion and is targeting a direct listing in the first half of 2027.
Listing path, not a traditional IPO
A direct listing would let existing shareholders sell stock publicly without the company raising fresh capital through a classic IPO. EasyA has submitted a draft registration to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and completed two years of audits by accounting firm PDF. Kwok stressed that the valuation reflects audited financials, growth plans and peer comparisons — it does not guarantee the price investors will pay once shares trade.
The firm, founded by brothers Philip and Dominic Kwok, says its app has more than 1.3 million users and works with networks including Ripple and Solana on developer education and hackathons.
Tokenized shares on the roadmap
Dominic Kwok, co-founder and COO, said putting shares in tokenized form is “definitely on the roadmap,” potentially from the first day of public trading. How those tokens would be issued or traded has not been detailed yet. Tokenized equities are drawing interest from brokers and infra providers as the SEC works on related frameworks — see also Perpetuals.com’s SEC filing.
EasyA Labs is expanding into tokenization projects and applications involving AI agents. Early hackathon alumni include Walden Yan, later co-founder of Cognition AI (behind the Devin coding agent), whose company has drawn large venture rounds.
The planned listing will test appetite for companies that sell the tools and education behind crypto and AI, rather than tokens or models themselves.
